Wood Bioenergy US Free Summary

Forisk tracks, screens, and analyzes all wood-using bioenergy projects and sectors in the United States.

As of January 2024, Forisk’s wood bioenergy database tracks 494 operating and announced projects. These operating and announced projects represent a combined potential wood consumption of 117.2 million green tons per year if all projects come online. Based on Forisk’s viability screening process, 356 projects pass, indicating potential wood use of 102.1 million tons per year.
